Pedagogical Diagnostics as a Part of Management of Students’ Independent Work

Розглянуто сутність педагогічної діагностики та її функцій у навчальному процесі. Проаналізовано використання педагогічної діагностики в дистанційному навчанні, щоб допомогти студенту підібрати для нього підходящий варіант самостійної роботи, що сприяє особистій орієнтації навчального процесу. Запропоновано структуру системи педагогічної діагностики, обговорюються вимоги до системи, етапи та порядок її проектування.The essence of pedagogical diagnostics and its functions in the learning process is considered. The use of pedagogical diagnostics in distance learning to help the student in choosing the expedient for him variant of independent work that contributes to personal orientation of the educational process is analysed. Structure of the pedagogical diagnostics system is proposed, requirements to the system, the stages and procedure of its design are discussed

Систематичність самостійної роботи студентів в курсі операційних систем

The paper is devoted to the study of systematicity of students’ learning activity as a parameter of student’s model, and influence of systematicity at learning results in the course “Operating Systems”. The necessity to equip the student himself as the subject of the educational process with the skills and appropriate pedagogical forecasting tools for independent choice of the appropriate variant of educational activity is shown as theoretical framework. Parameters of models in such pedagogical diagnostics system are suggested and discussed. Empirical work has been realised on the base of learning management system Moodle and give possibility to analyse correlation between timeliness of completing the learning tasks by students and their educational achievements as well as to analyse the structure of students’ time planning at homework. Recommendations to improve the educational process have been suggestedСтаття присвячена вивченню систематичності навчальної діяльності студентів як параметру моделі студента та впливу систематичності на результати навчання в курсі "Операційні системи". Необхідність оснащення самого учня як суб'єкта навчального процесу навичками та відповідними інструментами педагогічного прогнозування для самостійного вибору відповідного варіанту навчальної діяльності показана як теоретична база. Запропоновані та обговорені параметри моделей у такій системі педагогічної діагностики. Емпірична робота реалізована на базі системи управління навчанням Moodle і дає можливість проаналізувати співвідношення між своєчасністю виконання навчальних завдань студентами та їх навчальними досягненнями, а також проаналізувати структуру планування часу учнів на виконання домашніх завдань. Запропоновано рекомендації щодо вдосконалення навчального процес

Як досягти самоуправління студентів у навчальній діяльності?

The paper is devoted to the study of types of managing the student’s educational activity. The educational discipline “Practicum of problem solving in informatics” for students of third year study, future teachers of informatics have been chosen for realising pedagogical conditions of computer-oriented management of students’ educational activity. Progressive turn from direct management through comanagement, subsidiary management to self-management was the main idea of designing the courseware. The information and communication educational environment has been based on the platform of learning management system Moodle. The Workshop elements of Moodle played the central role in management of students’ educational activity. The results of our pedagogical observation and assessment showed the efficiency of suggested approach. Additionally, there were shown the lack of students’ competency in time planning and introspection on the base of the experimental data.Стаття присвячена вивченню видів управління навчальною діяльністю студента. Навчальна дисципліна «Практикум вирішення завдань з інформатики» для студентів третього курсу, майбутніх викладачів інформатики обрана для реалізації педагогічних умов комп’ютерно-орієнтованого управління навчальною діяльністю студентів. Прогресивний поворот від прямого управління через комунікацію, допоміжне управління до самоуправління був основною ідеєю розробки навчальних програм. Інформаційне та комунікаційне освітнє середовище базувалося на платформі системи управління навчанням Moodle. Елементи Moodle відігравали центральну роль в управлінні навчальною діяльністю студентів. Результати нашого педагогічного спостереження та оцінки показали ефективність запропонованого підходу. Крім того, на підставі експериментальних даних було виявлено відсутність компетентності студентів у плануванні часу та самоаналізу

Систематичність самостійної роботи студентів у хмарному навчальному середовищі

The paper deals with the problem of out-of-class students’ independent work in information and communication learning environment based on cloud technologies. Results of appropriate survey among students of pedagogical university are discussed. The students answered the questions about systematicity of their learning activity and propositions for its improving. It is determined that the leading problems are needs in more careful instruction according to features of the task completing, insufficient experience in self-management, the lack of internal motivation. Most of all, students recommend to provide the tasks with detail instruction (oral or written) and to pay attention to careful planning the time that is necessary for full completion of the task. It is pointed that such complicated requirements can be satisfied only by complex use of information and communication technologies as well as the automated system of pedagogical diagnostics. Some requirements for management of students’ out-of-classroom independent work are formulated as a result of this discussion.В статті розглядається проблема самостійної роботи позакласних студентів в інформаційно-комунікаційному середовищі навчання на основі хмарних технологій. Обговорюються результати відповідного опитування серед студентів педагогічного університету. Студенти відповіли на питання про системність навчальної діяльності та пропозиції щодо її вдосконалення. Встановлено, що провідними проблемами є потреби в більш ретельному навчанні відповідно до особливостей виконання завдання, недостатнім досвідом самоврядування, відсутністю внутрішньої мотивації. Перш за все, студенти рекомендують надати завдання з докладними інструкціями (усними або письмовими) і звернути увагу на ретельне планування часу, необхідного для повного виконання завдання. Відзначено, що такі складні вимоги можуть бути задоволені тільки за рахунок комплексного використання інформаційних та комунікаційних технологій, а також автоматизованої системи педагогічної діагностики. This article is an attempt to rethink the concepts of "methodic" and "methodologic / methodical system" as basic to educational technology. What should be the structure of a methodical system? What is primary – the methodical system or the methodology? How are methodical systems created and developed? How do educational technology and a methodical system relate? How does changing the components of a system make it emergent? DIAGNOSIS OF PROBLEMS OF MANAGEMENT OF THE STUDENTS' INDEPENDENT WORK IN THE INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION PEDAGOGICAL ENVIRONMENT

The method of questioning was used in students' groups to diagnose features of the implementation of independent work in the learning process of pedagogical university. Analysis of the data makes it possible to confirm the usefulness of systematic self-study, identify some causes of difficulties. In particular, students, who often work independently, have higher success in learning, love their future profession; independent work does not replace the classroom ONE, but rather complements it, students, who often work independently, more often attend lectures. Some statistically significant factors that hinder independent work can be distinguished: an overload on other subjects; inertia, laziness; living conditions; the availability of a hobby, which does not coincide with the learning task; family circumstances. Students widely use Internet resources during independent work, but they do it spontaneously and do not obtain proper effect on the success of learning. So management of independent work should be provided special means in information and communication environment, aimed at improving the efficiency of the use of Internet resources during independent work of students
